Abu Dhabi is a relatively short drive from Dubai and I’ve gone against my budget traveller instincts and opted for a taxi. The drive is beautiful and promotes plenty of reflection.
When I arrive in Abu Dhabi, I discover that I’m staying out in the middle of nowhere. I’ve heard so many things about the Safaris so I sign myself up for an evening of Dune Bashing, Camel Riding, Belly Dancing, Shisha and new found friends.
It’s beautiful watching the sun set in the Arabian Desert. The colours are so different, so striking. Every minute, I’m filled with wonder and sheer pleasure as I’m forced into ever changing opportunities. Nothing is normal or comfortable, but it’s so much fun!
